By building connections between people, places, and resources, we make it easier for everyone to be active in their daily lives.

Active Pictou County is a partnership between the Town of Pictou and the Municipality of Pictou County, supported by the Province of Nova Scotia through the Municipal Physical Activity Leadership (MPAL) program.

Antigonish Aikikai classes are held regularly from October through June on campus at St.F.X. University. There are three terms, October-December, January-end of March and April-June. Classes are from 6:30-8:00 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. New students are welcome at anytime, interested people are welcome to come by watch a class.

At The Arts House, we offer watercolour, acrylic, charcoal sketching, learn to draw painting classes for all levels. We also house a with a fully equipped Pottery School, located in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. Registration for classes and events can be found on our website https://theartshouse.corsizio.com/portal/theartshouse We also have 5 Art Fairs at Chisholm park from June to August that are free to the public. They run every other Friday night, with Art vendors selling their goods, live music, food, and more.
