PlayFinder Release Notes — October 4, 2026
Family & Registration
- Registration blocked when a linked account is locked (#826). If any account linked to a family is locked, program registration is now blocked for the whole family, both self-service registration and admin-on-behalf registration. This closes two previous workarounds: switching to an unlocked sibling account, and asking an admin to register instead. The block message names the locked member and the reason. The Register buttons on a family's profile are also hidden/disabled in this case.
- Waiver signed by Org Admin now notifies the family (#190). When an Org Admin signs a waiver on behalf of a family member, an email is now sent to the family member and all linked accounts, including the waiver contents and who signed it.
Facility Scheduling & Dressing Rooms
- New public endpoint: facility schedule with dressing room assignments (#828). Facilities can now display today's schedule alongside dressing room assignments on their own web page. Parent facilities automatically expand to show each child facility's schedule; if no dressing room is assigned for a time slot, it falls back to showing who's using the facility.
- Facility "Private" flag now actually hides names (#832). Fixed a long-standing bug where marking a facility user as Private did not hide their name from schedule displays, for individuals or organizations, old bookings or new. This is now enforced consistently across every schedule view (public HTML schedule, calendar, manager/staff/org-scheduler detail pages, officials views, and the new dressing room endpoint above).
Messaging
- "Message Organization" subject lines now include more context (#816, #817). On the Registration tab, the message subject now includes the family's name alongside the program name. On the Fees tab, an optional "Program Name" field has been added to the message form so parents can specify which program their question is about; it's included in the subject line when filled in.
Admin Tools
- Admin/UserList: see and filter locked accounts (#823). The admin user list now shows a "Locked" column with the lock reason, plus a "Locked accounts only" filter checkbox.
- FamilyMembers/AspNetUsers email sync (#796). Email/username changes made by a sysadmin or by a user editing their own linked family member record now sync automatically between the login account and the family record, preventing the account-family disconnects this previously caused. Includes a one-time cleanup pass to fix existing mismatches.
Transactions & Fees
- Standalone credit refunds on the family side, plus editable refund tracking ID (#812). Families can now issue a standalone credit refund the same way organizations already could. On both the family and organization sides, the PayToday transaction ID on an "Approve Refund" transaction can now be entered or edited directly (previously only auto-copied), and is locked from editing everywhere else.
- Actual Transaction Fees calculation added (#809). A new "Act. Transaction Fees" column has been added alongside the renamed "Est. Transaction Fees" label on the payments and fees summary export pages, reflecting actual banking fees allocated per transaction.
