Crow Neck beach is located in Bacarro. There is limited parking- you will need to park on the shoulder of the road to access the beach if you visit by car. This beach is a hidden gem in the Municipality. It is also home of the protected piping plovers. Crows Neck Beach is wonderful for bird watching, beach combing or taking a nice leisurely stroll next to the Atlantic Ocean.
Baccaro is the oldest place name in Nova Scotia. Just around the corner is the Baccaro Lighthouse; rebuilt in 1934 this 45 foot tall lighthouse is land assessable.
