Details Page Overview

The Details page provides a comprehensive view of a destination, including its description, contact information, amenities, accessibility features, and related documents. This page is designed to help you quickly find all relevant information about a destination in one place.

What You’ll Find on the Details Page

• Destination Overview: View the destination’s name, logo, description, and address. If available, you can access a map link for directions.
• Contact & Social Links: Easily connect with the destination via email, phone, website, or social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube. Contact details are accessible via convenient pop-up modals.
• Additional Details: Learn more about the destination’s motto, year established, accessibility information, amenities, and whether it is wheelchair accessible.
• Tabbed Information: Access further details through tabs, including:
  • Contacts: Key people associated with the destination.
  • Site Components: Child destinations or related sites.
  • News, FAQ, Information, Bylaws, Policies, Forms, Waivers: Relevant documents organized by type, each viewable in a modal window.
• Maps & Coordinates: View trail maps (Google, GPS, or mobile downloads) and geographical coordinates if available.
• Photo Gallery: Browse images of the destination in a carousel gallery.
• Rating: See the destination’s rating, if provided.

How to Use the Details Page

• Browse Information: Scroll through the page to view all available details.
• Use Tabs: Click on the tabs to switch between contacts, documents, and site components.
• View Documents: Click document titles to open them in a pop-up window.
• Contact or Connect: Use the provided buttons and links to email, call, or visit the destination’s website or social media pages.
• Navigate the Gallery: Use the arrows to view different photos in the image carousel.
• Close the Page: Use the Close button at the bottom of the page to exit.

User Actions

• If an address is shown, you can click the map icon next to the address to open the location in Google Maps in a new browser tab.

• Under "Connect With Us," you may see several icons:

  • If an email address is available, click the envelope icon to open a pop-up window displaying the email address and a link to send an email using your default email program. In the pop-up, click "Close" to dismiss the window.
  • If a phone number is available, click the phone icon to open a pop-up window displaying the phone number. In the pop-up, click "Close" to dismiss the window.
  • If a website is available, click the globe icon to visit the website in a new browser tab.
  • If a Facebook page is available, click the Facebook icon to visit the Facebook page in a new browser tab.
  • If a Twitter profile is available, click the Twitter icon to visit the Twitter profile in a new browser tab.
  • If an Instagram profile is available, click the Instagram icon to visit the Instagram profile in a new browser tab.
  • If a YouTube channel is available, click the YouTube icon to visit the YouTube channel in a new browser tab.

• In the navigation area, you can select different tabs to view related information:

  • Click "Contacts" to view a list of contacts for the destination.
  • Click "Site Components" to view a list of related sites or components. In this section, click the "View Details" button next to a site component to open its details in a new browser tab.
  • Click "News," "FAQ," "Information," "Bylaws," "Policies," "Forms," or "Waivers" to view documents of each type. In these sections, click the title of a document to open a pop-up window displaying the document's details. In the pop-up, click "Close" to dismiss the window.

• If a trail map is available, you can view it directly on the page in an embedded frame.

• If GPS or mobile trail map downloads are available, click the "GPS Download" or "Mobile Download" links to download the respective files.

• If a photo gallery is shown, you can:

  • Click the left arrow ("Previous") to view the previous image.
  • Click the right arrow ("Next") to view the next image.

• At the bottom of the page, click the "Close" button to close the page or browser tab.
