Recreation Leadership Training

Recreation Nova Scotia has created a new Recreation Leadership Training Program in partnership with J. Griffin Consulting and Ready4 Consulting. The program will serve as a recognized training standard for frontline recreation leaders, particularly those working with children and youth in Nova Scotia.

The training equips leaders with the skills, confidence, and judgment to create safe, welcoming, and inclusive recreation environments. Through an engaging, play-based approach, participants will experience and practice best practices while applying them to real-life recreation scenarios.

Join Us at the RNS Annual Conference

Following the closing ceremonies of our Annual Conference, we will be hosting a Recreation Leadership Training session from 1:00–4:30 p.m. on October 15th at the Best Western Glengarry in Truro.
