Stand Up Paddle Board Course
Program Description

Interested in learning paddleboarding safety and technical skills and knowledge to be more comfortable and competent on the water? Course covers stroke and balance techniques, and basic rescues. Join us at the Antigonish Boat Club (ABC) for this Paddle Canada Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) full-day course with instructor Michelle Richards.

Morning - Paddle Canada Basic SUP Skills.  Afternoon - Paddle Canada Advanced Flatwater Skills.

Date: Saturday June 21 (rain date June 22)

Time: 9:30 am to 4 pm.  9:30 to set up gear, course starts at 10am.

Fee: $175 people who are not members of the ABC. $150 ABC members (members pay full and will be reimbursed $25). Payment required to confirm spot. Spots filled on a first pay basis.

Payment is through Sporthub. Check your membership account for payment steps.

Bring your own board + gear.  If you do not have a SUP and gear you can call ahead to borrow, for free, an inflatable SUP from the Antigonish County Recreation Office. There are also 3 hard boards available to rent for $50/day.  Participants bring their own lunch and snacks.
