Any city, town, village, rural municipality or First Nations community who supports the purpose and objectives of Recreation Nova Scotia is eligible for Municipal membership. All recreation employees, Recreation Committee members and elected officials may be included in a Municipal membership. Each individual names under a Municipal membership will be entitled to full membership benefits, including voting privileges, discounts on events, resources and training opportunities, and all member communications. 

Municipal membership fees are based on population as follows:

Municipal membership (population 0 - 4,999): $600 per year

Municipal membership (population 5,000 - 14,999 ): $700 per year

Municipal membership (population 15,000 - 54,999): $900 per year

Municipal membership (population 55,000+): $1,300 per year

RNS memberships are valid from April 1 - March 31 annually.
