Founded in 2016, the Jijuktu’kwejk Watershed Alliance is a community-based, non-profit organization dedicated to restoring and protecting the ecological health of the Jijuktu’kwejk (Cornwallis) River watershed in Nova Scotia. Bringing together scientists, Indigenous and community partners, students, and volunteers, the Alliance works through science, leadership, and public engagement to address pollution and improve the health of the river.
