The Antigonish Town & County Library, located on Main Street, is one of seven branches in its regional system and provides free services along with access to resources from all Nova Scotia public libraries. It offers high-speed internet and serves as a community technology access site.

The library runs free programs from September to June, along with special events like workshops, author readings, and summer reading clubs for kids.

Non-profit groups can use meeting spaces free of charge for non-commercial purposes, and the library also offers public art display areas.
