Our clean and quiet grounds are situated next to the Brierly Brook and offer family accommodations in the heart of Antigonish. We’re within walking distance of restaurants, shopping, theatres, golf, and the campus of St. Francis Xavier University.

Often described as feeling like a "town within a town", Whidden Park offers a camping and cottage experience like no other! The gentle Brierly Brook winds its way through our 15 acre parkland and downtown Antigonish is just off our doorstep!  

Leave the car behind as you explore the shops on Main Street, dine on fine local seafood, and take in some great live entertainment before heading back to your site for an evening around the fire!  

Our campsites come serviced or unserviced. Power is rated for 30 Amps, with a few 50 Amp sites and the water is potable. 

Our cottages offer guests a comfortable and clean "mini-home away from home". Each features two bedrooms, a complete kitchen with cutlery, flatware, and cookware supplied. A separate living area with TV offers a port of refuge and relaxation after a long day of exploring

For those looking for the camping experience without all the hassle of setting up, Whidden Park also offers on-site RV rentals in the form of two camper trailers. We take care of all the hard work ahead of time, so no hauling, backing-in, or leveling - just bring your own linens and towels and move on in!
