We also house a with a fully equipped Pottery School, located in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. We also have 5 Art Fairs at Chisholm park from June to August that are free to the public. They run every other Friday night, with Art vendors selling their goods, live music, food, and more.

4-H is a nationwide, family-oriented, community-based youth organization dedicated to developing young Canadians, encouraging them to become responsible members of society.
We help our youth “Learn To Do By Doing” in a safe, inclusive and fun environment, providing leadership and life skills development opportunities while promoting agriculture awareness.
The heart of 4-H is in its clubs. 4-H clubs are comprised of 4-H members and trained and screened volunteers who act as club and project leaders. The club decides on a topic of interest and, through instruction by leaders and hands-on learning, members learn about the topic during 4-H meetings. In addition to gaining a hands-on education, members develop leadership skills, understand how an individual can affect their community and country, and make lasting friendships.

The Antigonish Heritage Museum is a cultural hub of Antigonish Town and County. Established in 1991, it has long been the site of engaging and interesting exhibits and popular community events. Open year-round, our calendar of events includes cultural events, public lectures, book launches, exhibit openings, and much more. The Heritage Association of Antigonish is a key partner in the success of the Museum. A voluntary charitable organization, the Association also spearheads a number of historical and genealogical projects in the community. |

The Antigonish Highland Games are the oldest continuous highland games outside of Scotland. First held in 1863, this early July tradition welcomes visitors and participants from around the globe. The Antigonish Highland Games are staged annually by the Antigonish Highland Society, which was established to preserve Scottish culture and traditions. The week long schedule will be jam packed with competitions featuring athletes, pipers, drummers, and highland dancers from across the country and around the world. There will also be the blend of Scottish flavoured ceilidhs, clan activities, and concerts. |
