Explorers Camp - July 27-30 - Grades 3&4: Earth science camps will immerse youth in the wonders of our planet through hands-on activities and thrilling discoveries! Dive into the fascinating world of rocks, minerals, and fossils, uncover the secrets of plate tectonics, and explore the power of natural forces that shape our world. Campers will investigate Earth’s processes and conduct experiments that bring the science of our dynamic planet to life. From understanding the mysteries of the deep Earth to learning about sustainability and the environment, these camps are perfect for curious minds ready to dig deeper into the story of our Earth!

Fit 4 Life - Tuesdays Winter Term 2026 - AEC Students Only
Program Multisport
An inclusive, highly active, afterschool program for children in grades 3 & 4 enrolled in the Antigonish Education Centre.  This program is a weekly program that occurs on Tuesdays from January to March.
 
Student-leaders pick up participants from the Antigonish Education Centre after school and walk them to campus (AUX gym, Amelia Saputo Centre) for the program.
 
Children are offered fresh fruit for a snack.
 
Children should bring their own water bottle and sneakers.
 
Children are provided a physical literacy enriched environment where they take part in low organized games, relays, obstacle courses, campus tours, scavenger hunts, swimming/water play and skating/ice play.
 
Pick up is outside the Amelia Saputo Centre at 4:30 pm.

Fees for this program are $30 and are to be paid directly to the program administrator.  We also have programs on Tuesday and Wednesday which also cost $30 each.  If you register your child in all 3 programs your total will be $90.

Junior X U16 / U18
Program Basketball

U16 & U18 Player Registration serves three specific purposes: 

1. Allowing older players to be members of Basketball Nova Scotia and potentially participate in any/all BNS related programming for the 2025/26 season.

2. Creates registration opportunity for 'over age' players intending to participate on the U14 Junior X Boys or Girls team, if the opportunity becomes available.

3. Helps AMBA understand the interest of older players to form competitive teams following the traditional high school season to be eligible to compete in the BNS Provincial Championships.

Cost of the program is $45

Program Volleyball

Based on Volleyball age Categories, generally the age groups are as follows: 
16U: Athletes born between September 1, 2009 and Dec 31, 2010 (16 months)


The focus of the 15U and 16U Program is to continue to develop and refine skills that can be used with increased consistency when the athlete is under pressure, conditions change, or demands increase. Team systems and position specialization is further discussed and developed, with individual and position specific training is provided. (LTAD, Volleyball Canada)

Program Curling

Weekly Friday sessions combine fun game play and instruction. Safe and supportive environment for all skill levels.  Participants should dress warmly and must bring clean indoor sneakers and a helmet (hockey, bike, skateboard). All other equipment is provided. The club provides family discounts. Program fees are $105 for the first child, $170 for two children and $210 for three children. Fees are to be paid to the club by cash or debit.

Program Volleyball

Stoirm is offering an 8 week, 12U Co-ed League Program for girls and boys born between September 1, 2013 and Dec 31, 2016 (see http://volleyballnovascotia.ca/page.php?page_id=81072)

The league will run Sunday, January 11 to Sunday, March 1 at Saint Andrew Junior School from 3pm-430pm. We will have an end of season tournament on Sunday, March 8.

This program will be capped at 40 athletes and athletes will be divided across 4 teams. 

Note that our payment structure has changed slightly this season across our club: 

The total fee for the program is $89.03*. This covers a program t-shirt, VNS/VC membership fees and facility dues. 

$70 of this fee can be paid via SportHub or via e-transfer (SportHub preferred if possible). 

The additional $19.03 ($17 + service fee) is for VNS/VC recreation membership which is now paid directly to VNC/VC via  https://volleyballnovascotia.sportlomo.com/. 
*Please do not register on Sportlomo or send any e-transfers until you have received confirmation of your registration from SportHub - refunds are not possible from the Sportlomo platform*

Registration will open on Wednesday, January 7th at 9am and close on Friday, January 30th at 4pm.

Athletes will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis.
Waitlisted athletes will be notified.
