The Antigonish Arena is a non-profit organization owned by Town and the County of Antigonish. We have been serving the community since 1969. Our arena is one of the busiest arenas in the Province of Nova Scotia.  We are the home of the Junior "B" Bulldogs, 4 Gentlemen's League teams, 4 Senior League teams, 450 young people enrolled in Minor Hockey, Seniors, Adult and Tots Skating, Spring and Fall Hockey Schools.

The Arisaig Parish Community Centre (APCC) was built by volunteers in 1989. The hall has been used extensively by the community for wedding receptions, family reunions, birthday parties, socials after funerals, card parties, Antigonish summer recreation programs, meetings, fitness/yoga sessions, and numerous social and recreation activities.

This is the Parent Facility (Full School) for East Antigonish Education Cente/Academy. Multiple bookable spaces are available for use at East Antigonish Education Centre/Academy, including the gymnasium, cafeteria, library, and classrooms. For more information, email facilities@antigonishcounty.ca

You may be wondering, what’s a Mini-Pitch?  Supplied by Musco Sports Lighting, a Mini-Pitch is an all-in-one sport court complete with a sport tile playing surface, built in soccer goals and basketball hoops, and sturdy fencing.  Lighting, benches and graphics complete the stand-alone facility to ensure it’s welcoming and ready for action.  

But to the residents of Antigonish, the new Scotiabank Mini-Pitch is much more!  It’s a space for inclusive and accessible free play. Close to schools, neighbourhoods, and transportation links, the Mini-Pitch is a low-barrier space for children and families to come together for fun and healthy activity. 

Theatre Antigonish is a not-for-profit community theatre, supported by St Francis Xavier University and the people of Antigonish. Our mandate is to involve the campus community and residents of the surrounding region in a variety of productions during the winter months, both as participants and members of the audience. We are based in the Bauer Theatre adjacent to the University Chapel.
