The We’koqma’q School Playground is located in the Mi’kmaw community of We’koqma’q (Waycobah First Nation). The playground features a variety of play structures, along with custom live-edge cedar fencing and sensory elements designed to encourage exploration, touch, balance, and curiosity.

Waterside Beach Provincial Park is a combination of a long sandy beach, salt marsh and open farmland with picnic tables. The long, wide beach is seldom crowded, and the water is very warm. Group use is available. Park amenities include boardwalks, change house and vault toilets.

The Ward One Social & Recreation Centre has indoor rental space complete with a bar, stage, sound system and kitchen as well as an outdoor basketball court (50 ft X 90 ft), soccer field (300 ft x 150 ft) and playground.

Walter Duggan Consolidated is a grade Primary to 6 school within the Chignecto Central Regional Centre for Education.

Arbor Drive Playground consisting of an outdoor green space for children's play with swings, climbing structures and slides.

Kingston is a village in Kings County on the north bank of the Annapolis River in the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia. 

The Village of Bible Hill Parks and Recreation Department is responsible for the maintenance and care of multiple parks throughout the village. These include the Bible Hill Recreation Park, Airport Park Ball Fields, and many more small neighbourhood parks.

Intertwined and connecting many parts of the Village is our trail system. Dal AC trail, Eagle Crest Trail, and Farnham Brook trail to name a few, travel throughout the Village of Bible Hill. The Pat Mahaney Bike Trails also offer three difficulty levels for bikers to enjoy.

The department is also responsible for the creation and execution of opportunities for recreational activities. We aim to support the community by:

Veterans Drive Playground is open to the public and includes a basketball net, swings, bench, gazebo and picnic table.

The Port Hawkesbury Civic Centre is a focal point in the region, serving residents, tourists and the business community. It is a state of the art facility offering meeting and conference facilities, including a full conference room (5040 square feet), a 16X30 board room, and classroom space.

The Civic Centre also houses an arena, fitness centre, dance studio, performance space, the J. Franklin Wright Gallery, municipal offices, racquetball courts, and a walking track.
