This park can be found in Brass Hill. Drive down Bayside Drive,  and take a left onto Island View Drive, then the park will be at the end of the loop near the ocean.

The Richard Swain Track and Field is a regulation size track and field. It also hosts a full size regulation soccer field. To book the Richard Swain Field please contact the Recreation Department.

Ages 13-17 – We'll explore paint, collage, papier mache and printmaking. This class will get your imagination going, and develop your skills.

8 weeks – Thursdays 4:00-5:30, February 5 – March 26

Materials included $300 Payable directly to Instructor. Online payment here. 

Making art can be soothing to the soul, and help to resolve old issues and feelings. This class will see you tapping into your subconscious and your imagination to create images and abstractions. For inspiration, we will look at other artists who create intuitively. Kim will provide hands-on instruction in the use of materials. Drawing, painting and collage. Come away knowing yourself a little better!

Drawing and painting faces is scary, right? It's really not scary at all. Step by step we will learn to capture a likeness, using different materials and explore through form, line and colour. You CAN do it!

Yarmouth Area Minor Baseball Association is a volunteer organization promoting baseball in the Yarmouth County area. 

YAMBA offers both Competitive and Recreational baseball divisions for ages 4-18.  

Soccer is the largest organized summer sport in our municipality. There are teams ranging in age from 3 to 17. All teams are co-ed. There are over 300 youth that take part in Argyle Minor Soccer. Registration takes place each April (exact dates, locations and times will be updated on this website as well as on our facebook page).

The Yarmouth FC is an organization that helps children get active in a fun way!

All coaches volunteer their time to teach and help children learn to love the sport of soccer! Children can start as early as three years old and play until they’re 18+!

We have a girls and a boys rep team, for those who are more competitive.

You can also play non competitively with our house league.

Tucked into the southwest corner of the Province, this charming links-style layout offers a panoramic view of the local lighthouse and ocean. The rolling fairways, small lightning fast greens and unpredictable ocean breezes all combine to provide a true challenge for any golfer.

Yarmouth is one of the Province’s oldest courses. While playing Yarmouth course you will be treated to great views of the Atlantic Ocean. The course is fairly wide open but the small greens will make up for this as accurate approach shots will be required.

The YCMHA will foster, improve and perpetuate the game of minor hockey for member children,
parents, volunteers and associate parties, of Yarmouth County, Nova Scotia.
