Program | Recreation |
TEEN CHOICE CLUB Girls’ Edition: Thursdays from 3:30–5:30 p.m. Teen Choice Club is led by the interests and choices of its participants. Each day, youth receive a menu of activities and decide what they would like to do. The possibilities could include playing Risk, having a Nerf battle, trying pickleball, making pizza, learning to crochet, completing a puzzle, or exploring something entirely new. Recreation staff are available during Club hours to help facilitate the structured activities selected by the group. Participants will also have opportunities to discuss personal goals. These might include improving a skill, working toward success during the school year, preparing for a fun job, or pursuing another goal that matters to them. Staff will offer encouragement and help youth identify practical steps toward reaching those goals. Teen Choice Club was so popular during the summer that it is now continuing throughout the year. Participation is drop-in, with no ongoing commitment required. Teen Choice Club is free for RecPlex members. Youth memberships are available for $10 per month or $50 per year. Youth members ages 11 and older may also respectfully access available RecPlex spaces whenever the facility is open and those spaces are not otherwise booked. Teen Choice Club hours provide the added opportunity to choose from facilitated, structured activities with recreation staff available to help. Program Status: Registration Open |
